Key Stage 3 Curriculum
KS3 offers full-time places for up to 60 pupils. Classes are ‘vertically’ grouped to meet the vast range of learning needs. Year 7 are taught predominantly via a ‘Primary’ model with access to some specialist teaching and learning facilities.
All pupils follow a rich, broad and balanced curriculum that includes National Curriculum. Pupils are usually taught in classes of 12 pupils. All pupils learn English, Mathematics, Science, ICT, PE, Art and Design, Design Technology, PSHE (inc SRE), Humanities, Beliefs and Values and Music.
Our PE programme includes swimming and OAA. All pupils have the opportunity to participate in school competitions and performances.
In addition all pupils will learn new skills from our SEAL curriculum and participate regularly in our school assemblies.
